Can an EKG show any future problems with your heart?

Its me again…can an EKG show any future problems that you may have a heart problem? Again this is for my health class. Im getting mixed reviews about Q waves and other stuff. Some people say it shows if you have any kind of heart problems while others says it doesn’t. whats the truth? Thanks!

It does show if you have heart arrhythmia but it can not detect future heart problems only ultra sounds and MRI’s can show this.

An ekg through progression in stt waves wave means myocardial necrosisirreversible cardiac damage.
